Delivery of goods

Customers can pick up products at Terra Eininga's Hringhella 6 business area when a Terra Eininga employee has confirmed that the product is ready for delivery. Terra Einingar can also mediate the delivery to the work site according to the customer's request. The customer's representative receives and instructs where to deliver the product according to his request. Invoices for the purchase of products are issued when confirmation that the product is ready at Terra Einingum. If it is a rental, the rental agreement starts from the time the customer has been notified that the rented item is ready for delivery at Terra Einingum.

Product price and shipping costs

All products are subject to statutory value added tax, and if nothing is stated in Terra Eininga's offer, it must be assumed that 24% value added tax will be added to the offer price. All prices change according to the development of the consumption index, the position of the consumption index is based on the date of the offer and the price changes according to it every month. When purchasing a product, Terra Einingar may request a 20% down payment to confirm the purchase.

Return of product

Terra Einingar does not accept used products that have been sold to a customer unless specifically agreed upon. If it is a rental product, at the end of the rental period or if the rental agreement is canceled for any reason, the lessee bears all the costs of finishing and moving the Terra Eininga business area in the capital area in as good a condition as possible based on normal use. If damage is discovered after returning the product, Terra Einingar reserves the right to repair the product at the customer's expense.

Faulty product

If a product is defective or not in the condition in which it was sold, Terra Einingar is responsible for repairing it at its own expense. In other cases, reference is made to the Consumer Liability Act.

If it is a rental

The lessee takes care at his own expense of all normal maintenance of the rented object, both inside and outside. The lessee pays all operating costs for the leased item, incl. for water consumption, electricity costs, heating costs to name a few. The lessee also pays public fees for the leased property. The renter is obliged to deal with the rented property in a way that is compatible with accepted customs. The landlord's inspector has, with reasonable notice, the right to access the premises for inspection. The inspector can ask for improvements if he deems it necessary. The lessor is not responsible for damage that may occur to the lessee's property in the rented premises due to accidents such as seal damage, water damage, fire, smoke or the like. The lessee must be careful with fire in the building and make sure that there is no danger from electric lines, machines and other things that may happen, depending on the general rules of compensation law.

The lessee is liable to the lessor for damage to the rented property according to the general rules of tort law. In the same way, the lessee is responsible for all those who use and walk around the rented property on his behalf, such as his staff and customers.

Under-named

If the rental agreement or the purchase of a product is not fulfilled in significant respects and is not remedied within 30 days from the sending of the lessor's written request for improvement, the lessor is entitled to cancel this agreement. Delaying payments for 30 days after one day is considered a significant non-compliance in this sense. If the customer becomes insolvent, is authorized to freeze payment or to seek forced contracts or an unsuccessful foreclosure, Terra Einingar acquires the right to cancel the rental agreement from that date and recover the rented property at the lessee's expense.

In the event that the lease agreement is cancelled, the lessee must compensate the lessor for the direct damage resulting from his non-compliance. If the lease agreement is canceled according to the above, the landlord can demand the eviction of the tenant from the premises. The lessor has the right to remove the product from the work site and transport it to his place of business in the capital area at the lessee's expense.

Confidentiality

The lessor promises the lessee full confidence in all information he provides in connection with the transaction. Information will not be passed on to third parties under any circumstances.

Laws and forums

These terms are in accordance with Icelandic law. If a case arises because of him, it shall be prosecuted before the Reykjaness District Court.

Credit transactions and payment terms:

If a customer wishes to enter into a credit transaction with Terra Einingar, Terra Einingar will assess the customer's creditworthiness before the transaction takes place. When assessing creditworthiness, Terra Einingar uses, among other things, Credit Info hf's risk assessment analysis, which is based on payment behavior and public records of defaults, along with other items. The payment deadline in credit transactions is 15 days, i.e. Invoice expiration date is 15 days after issue date. If a payment is delayed by more than one day, late payment interest is calculated from the issue date to the payment date, but if the payment is delayed by 5 days or more, a late payment fee is also charged. If payment is delayed by more than 35 days, all services to the customer will be suspended until payment has been received. Prolonged non-payment can then lead to legal collection actions being taken with associated costs for the customer.
